Though his father tried to break him of fishing when he was young, he kept it up and became a self-made man at a very young age. He was just 26 when he captained his first boat and took over the Seabrooke full time in 2008 when his father, Scott Sr, retired from the sea. After working for 10 years as the Captain of the Seabrooke, he has turned the ship from a junker to a competitive, top-producing vessel. He loves spending time with his wife Lisa and two girls in the off season, and enjoys wakeboarding, wake surfing, riding his Harley, hunting and sport fishing.
