They would go on to release the albums Rock & Roll Machine in 1977, Just a Game in 1979, Progressions of Power in 1980, Allied Forces in 1981, Never Surrender in 1983, Thunder Seven in 1984, The Sport of Kings in 1986, and Surveillance in 1987. Triumph had success with the singles “Hold On”, “Lay It On The Line”, “Fight the Good Fight”, “Magic Power”, and “Follow Your Heart”. Emmett has released several solo albums starting with Absolutely in 1990. He is a writer for Guitar Player magazine and also teaches at Humber College.  He was inducted into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame along with Triumph.
