At the time the allegedly began seeing each other romantically, Zahn was still married to real estate developer Richard Cohen. She and Cohen divorced in 2007. After their divorce Zahn sued Cohen, alleging the he had grossly mismanaged her career earnings. The lawsuit was thrown out. Zahn and Fribourg reportedly continued dating for then next 13 years.
