Since 1978 she has hosted the TV show Almorzando con Mirtha Legrand in which she has lunch with famous people such as Raffaella Carra, Hugo Chavez, Susana Gimenez, Nacha Guevara, Julio Iglesias, Antonio Banderas, Melanie Griffith, Jose Feliciano, and many more. Legrand won Argentinian Film Critics Association Awards in 1945 and 1997. Mirtha was married to Daniel Tinayre from 1946 to 1994 and has two children.
