Cleaves was an NCAA Champion in 2000, the NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player in 2000, a two-time Big Ten Player of the Year in 1998 and 1999, was a Consensus First Team All-American in 1999, a two-time Consensus Second Team All-American from 1998 to 2000, and was a McDonald’s All-American in 1996. He competed in the FIBA World Championship with Greece in 1998 and received a bronze medal. In 2010, Cleaves became a Detroit Pistons studio analyst for Fox Sports Detroit. He currently owns a record label called All Varsity Entertainment and features Jon Connor.
