Mark Lindsay Net Worth
While being at the helm of the Raiders, Lindsay was involved in more side projects, eventually going solo in 1969. However, he spent some time working both as a soloist and the Raiders’ singer. His first solo single for Columbia Records was a Jimmy Webb composition titled “First Hymn From Grand Terrace”, which failed to reach the charts. It was his follow-up track, “Arizona”, that marked the true start of his solo success by reaching #10 in the USA and remaining his most successful solo single to date. Lindsay followed the pattern of performing on and off with the Raiders, while his solo career was on the rise until 1975. Lindsay went on to record solo singles for a few years (for Warner Bros., Elka and Greedy Records) and also contributed to the recordings of artists like Gerry Rafferty (on “Baker Street”), Kenny Rogers, among others. Lindsay’s latest album, “Life Out Loud”, was released via Bongo Boy Records in 2013.
