She was born in California as Kristie Alvarado and before marrying her husband, Shawn Ray, she was a bodybuilder, owned a skin care salon, and also worked as a certified paramedic. Kristie and Shawn were married in 2003 and welcomed his first daughter, Asia Monet, in 2005.
