Fez Whatley Net Worth

His announcement in February of 2011 that he was gay was made on the one-year anniversary of his father’s death. The Ron and Fez Show moved to XM Satellite Radio in September of 2005 after leaving WJFK 106.7 FM in Washington, D.C. In February of 2010, Whatley put up a $1,000 cash reward for the apprehension, conviction and incarceration of vandals who defaced the Mount Airy, North Carolina statue of Sheriff Andy Taylor and Opie Taylor (of the iconic ’60s television series The Andy Griffith Show). In 2015 Whatley announced his retirement from radio. Unfortunately Fez died on August 14, 2021.
