David Gottesman Net Worth

Being a longtime friend of Warren Buffett, Gottesman became an early investor in Berkshire Hathaway, and later in 2003, he joined its Board of Directors. Currently, he owns Berkshire Hathaway’s shares worth $3 billion. Known for his philanthropic work, in 2008, Gottesman and his wife, Ruth, gave $25 million to the Yeshiva University medical school. Moreover, he serves as Vice-Chairman of the Board of trustees of American Museum of National History in New York. David Gottesman died on September 28, 2022 at the age of 96.
